Wow. It's been over 6 months since I last updated this journal, or submitted any new deviations. My first year at university is almost over and it's been a hectic year to be sure! I've participated in some pretty cool flashmobs and attended a 3-day youth summit on climate change. Next month I hope to be part of a protest to close down a coal fire plant that is one of the dirtiest in the country.

But through the hectic workload and the activism, I have managed some photography which should be up soon, including some pretty cool underwater shots from a seal swim earlier this year and some shots of the Souther Right Whales that are currently enjoying a break from the ocean to breed just off shore here in the wonderful place that I live.

So apologies for the lack of submissions, critiques and just general checking of the site, I'm not dead, just busy!
